Face to Face With My Power Animal: A Meeting of Souls
The teenage girls from next door called me on the land line with their serious voice: âThereâs a bear out by the trampoline.â I didnât hesitate, that’s my cue to spring into action with grace and stealth silence. I grabbed my trusty iPhone â already set to video, zoomed in just a bit â ready to capture what Iâve been privileged to witness before. The bears visit here often. This land is as much theirs as it is mine, maybe more. But each time they appear, itâs never just a visit. Itâs a message. A presence. A shift. This time, I saw only her hindquarters as she ran into the…

Two Daughters, Two Roads, One Fierce, Loving Heart in Each
This week, my daughter Milly received not one, but two degrees â both with honors â while raising three children, juggling baseball games, and running her own salon business â all while navigating the terrain of life constantly demanding more than it gave. She earned an Associate of Sciences in Social & Behavioral Sciences, and an Associate of Arts in Psychology for Transfer.Iâm proud of her. Quietly, deeply, and completely. Not just for the degrees â but for the strength it took to keep showing up and completing difficult homework between baseball practices and long days at work. And speaking of strength… I want to honor my eldest daughter as well…

đŸ Morning Rituals with Pets: A Sacred Way to Start the Day
This morning I wasnât rushing. “In a world that rushes forward, it’s easy to forget the magic of morning rituals with pets â the sacred, slow beginning that anchors the soul. Whether sipping tea or brushing a furry companion, starting the day with pets brings us back to presence, back to love.” I wasnât checking my phone or gulping down tea before âgetting on with it.âInstead, I sipped slowly â Earl Grey with sweet rose and honey âa cup as fragrant as it was soothing.Easton nestled beside me, already at peace.Juliette watched us in our comfy chair from the loveseat, eyes speaking more than words ever could. I invited her…

Rising~Into~Sovereignty: A New Beginning
Today marks a quiet but powerful shift â not just for this blog, but for my own sacred path. In learning how to rebuild and reshape my online space, I found something deeper taking root inside me: sovereignty. Not just knowledge â but ownership. Not just motion â but conscious creation. Each obstacle became a doorway. Each delay, an invitation to deeper patience and grace. And so today, with Ashe Pro quietly blossoming behind the scenes, I step forward as the weaver of my own golden path â trusting the process, trusting my light. đż In moving through these layers of learning, I also experienced a deeper shift â a…

Healing “the left out kid” Wound As An Adult
There’s been alot of triggers for me to have an opportunity as an adult to recognize and heal that old wound of being “the kid left out” – which happened in a variety of ways as a kid and teenager during my school years. During those years, like being the last one standing in Phys Ed when the two popular girls were picking out of the group who was going to be on the team for whatever activity we were engaging. I was ALWAYS the last one left, and when the teacher said, “go to that team” – the girls rolled their eyes and groaned.  There were…

An Oasis of Peace Survives the Palisades Fires
After learning last night that Elvis Presley used to visit Paramahansa Yogananda’s Pacific Palisades sanctuary and retreat for his own peace and spiritual experience, I wondered if it survived the fires. When living in SoCal, I visited Yogananda’s retreat in Encinitas frequently, and as a student of SRF teachings, I was particularly concerned. I was relieved to find out that it did not burn, the main buildings, museum and gardens all survived the fire. The question was, did EVERYTHING survive? What was damaged? A visitors restroom, maintenance shed, and neighboring apartments were damaged A large tree was lost, and some small vegetation was damaged What survived? The Lake Shrine Temple…

Come Play With Me-Let’s Make Fitness FUN!
The 70-Day Challenge of a Not-Ever-Going-To-Retire QUEEN It was a quiet Tuesday night rolling over in bed when she noticed it. The unmistakable, undeniable marshmallow effect. Not the sweet, yummy campfire kind, but the slow, insidious melting of what was once a strong, toned, 103-pound frame into something resembling a partially deflated soufflĂ©. Her softened, untoned muscles rather hung off her thigh bone!! âOMG!!!â The wake-up call was more like a scream. The culprit? A suspiciously low-effort fitness regimen consisting of poodle walks and the occasional stretching session that still confirmed her flexibility was still like that of a dancing queen, astounding her teenage granddaughters. She rode on their amazement…

I AM an Interspecies Communications Messenger
Personally, I live in the forest with my poodles and have been an animal communications student and messenger for over 12 years. Only now I am coming out and offering this as a professional service after many beautiful interactions with both wildlife and people’s pets. Initially, it began when I’d receive messages from some people and animals who have departed earthly life. I never dared call myself a ‘medium’ or a ‘psychic’ – but it turns out I actually AM a medium – aka – a conduit for messages from both the departed and now the living, embodied domesticated and wild animals. Below is a very brief description for the…

When You Know you Don’t Know
When working with a wizard in all things technical, and who has the cognitive ability to figure things out by trial and error, I realize, when making this blog, for example, I simply don’t know what I don’t know. And I know I don’t know sh*t about this process. I DO know how to post a blog – see – I’m doing it – my wizard friend and TechMeister taught me this, and I was able to GROK it. Hey remember the word GROK? That dates me, eh? So the appearance of this blog, does not look the way I want it to. But I do understand creating content is…

How To Laugh & Cough Without Peeing Your Pants
It’s more than when you just laugh so hard you pee your pants – and it has nothing to do with age or pushing out babies. In high school, my bf & I were so goofy we’d spend most of our time laughing so hard, we’d have to squat down on one foot pretending to tie our shoe whilst wedging the other foot where we were under the impression it would prevent us from said peeing our pants. Ah, the good old days of youth when laughter was a way of life!!! Now, as we’ve gotten to the point where we laugh a LOT less, but a mere cough can…
